What You Should Know About Working At GasAmerica
- As an Assistant Manager or Cashier, you will be required to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Employees are required to work their regularly scheduled shifts. Since many GasAmerica stores are 24 hour, these include shifts throughout the holidays.
- All GasAmerica employees are required to comply with the employee appearance standards. Therefore, tongue posts, visible body piercing (except ears) and immoderate hairstyles of questionable taste are not allowed. Clothing must cover all body art.
- The job can be physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for very long periods of time and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Punctuality is a must since Team Members rely on you to have the store ready for peak sales periods. All employees are expected to be to work on time.
- GasAmerica's customer service and operating standards are extremely high. Maintaining stores to our standards means doing repetitive and routine tasks, including some that you may not like, including: sweeping, working in the coolers, mopping floors, emptying the trash, cleaning the restrooms, etc. All employees are required to complete tasks in their scheduled hours.
